Presentation of LAPRAK VILLAGE






 ”LAPRAK” village located at on the ” around Mt. Manaslu circuit” which is the most beautiful and exciting remote area of gorkha district in nepal. It is a thick houses 4,5000 inhabited by Gurungs and few of kamis. All nine wards of laprak clustered together in this village and It is  about 200 km northwest of kathmandu and 65 km far from gorkha bazar.Laprak village is one of the large village at elevation 2,200 m of this region.There are more than 650 houses and the houses is made by whole stone and roof tops
covered by wood. The village looks like Asan Bazaar in kathmandu. The climate pleasurable in spring and autumn and the winter is colder sometimes with snowfall but tour can be made anytime round the year. Laprak is a landslide  vulnerable zone and in 1999 A.D the rain triggered landslide. some houses swept away and 12 hector of agriculture land. Now there are many good hotels and homestay in laprak village.
